Our office has this culture of staying late. I come in early, work hard through the day but when 5:00pm comes - you are made to feel like a part-timer if you get up to leave. I work for a large IT consulting firm, which makes this even more funny. Our email system is down at the moment and we can't get to our emails at all. I just heard my line manager say "can you send me an email when it's back up"! D'oh!!
