Abusive Boss

My boss is CRAZY! I work in a child care center and though she is not this way to the children, she has been known to do many things in front of the children. I have had a play kitchen set thrown at me, screaming at any of us happens many times a day. We are called stupid if we make a mistake and screams in our faces. She regularly throws things off her desk and sometime out the door! We are all on eggshells everyday wondering minute to minute what her mood will be like. Any one have any ideas on how to handle her???

1. look for work somewhere else.
2. report her to the owner of the center.

I can't think of anything else you can do. She obviously has a problem and you cannot fix it. She either needs to be medicated or esle she is undermedicated. She definitely does not know how to work with people. I wonder if she thinks her actions are "normal" or "fair". I can't believe a grown woman would behave this way and have a normal life.

Short of arguing with her (which would only escalate her behavior) I think you and your co-workers should quit and go work for someone who is sane.
