I work for an indepedent Real Estate Brokerage. A small company with about 20 to 25 agents. The Broker wouldn't know his own ass from a bag of Dorritos. Everytime I go to him to discuss something, he's sitting in his office, watching Internet TV and eating a burger. If I interrupt him to discuss a closing, a client, etc., his response is "Can this wait until my program is over?"--you'd think I'd know after 1 yr of being at the company, that if he's watching "Mama's Family" I need to come back.
His desk is a damn crime scene! Junk all over it as well as trash surrounding it because he misses the trash can all day. I wouldn't care if he didn't sit in the front of the office. Clients come in and immediately look at that desk and all of the boxes of crap around it and ask "What happened here and who sits here?" He leaves Food bags, containers, cups, straws, spilled food all over the floor and desk. Sometimes there are gnats flying all around the damn desk. There are times when I go in his office and he asks me to come back because he's about to take his afternoon nap. I'm at the point where I'm looking for a different brokerage to affiliate myself with. Now I know why when an agent who works there does walk through the front door he always says "Oh hi, I haven't seen you around here in a long time."
